Chinese Globalization has been a phenomenon for the past two decades. Better language skills can make national borders disappear. From the academic perspective, universities have been urged to produce graduates who have obtained intercultural skills before they enter the job market. Therefore, universities have taken steps to provide a curriculum that enables their students to experience educational environments outside of their own country. The aim is to assist students to gain better knowledge and understanding about different cultures especially for the students who are pursuing a language major.

The double degree program offers qualified students the opportunity to receive a Chinese Teaching degree from any one of the TCFL university systems. If you are a person who would like to pursue a double degree at a partner university, the TCFL university systems are happy to help.

WHO QUALIFIED?

Please be aware that these programs are demanding and more challenging than if you were to pursue a single degree program. This means that only students with the strongest academic record and highest levels of ambition and motivation will participate in our second-degree programs.

 

WHO CAN APPLY?

 

1. Chinese native speaker: Bachelor Degree
2. Non-Chinese native speaker: Bachelor Degree, but Chinese major or related

 

The TCFL students are expected to pursue one academic year at any one of TCFL University Systems. During their stay participants are required to take a minimum of 10 courses, 30 credits, at the Taiwan partner university, based on a learning agreement by granting the double degree.
